Gravure Printing Machines

Gravure Printing Machine is a high-speed, high-quality printing system used to print images, text, and patterns on flexible packaging materials such as plastic films, paper, aluminum foils, and laminates. It works on the principle of intaglio printing, where the image area is engraved or etched below the surface of a metal cylinder (usually copper-plated and chrome-finished). During printing, ink fills these engraved cells, and as the cylinder rotates, excess ink is removed by a doctor blade, leaving ink only in the engraved areas. The substrate then passes between the impression roller and the engraved cylinder, transferring the ink to the material under pressure.
